It is with sadness that we learn of the passing of one of the last Spitfire aces of WW2, Squadron Leader Allan Scott, DFM.
On 1 November 2019, I was privileged to receive the following email from Mr Scott:
Dear Nick,
I have eventually received your letter concerning the signing of your logbook, it seems it has traveled around a few people before it arrived to me…
I would be delighted to sign.

Ever efficient, Ross Stewart wasted no time in dispatching the book to him and on 14 November 2019 Mr Allan Scott honored the Log Book with his entry.
Fair skies Sir, rest well, your legacy will inspire for generations.
