Red Deer Advocate

Featured in the Red Deer Advocate in preparation for the upcoming memorial ceremony to be conducted for P/O David Merry and his pupil LAC George Conway.

The story was featured both on the website of THE ADVOCATE:

It was a pleasant surprise to see that the story also made the front page – the newspaper is printed in about 13 000 copies per day and serves an area with about 130 000 people. Setting aside the fact that The Log Book Project had a small part in this it is always nice to see heritage acknowledged and remembrance paid to the fallen. It is all to easy to forget the sacrifices made by others to give us the freedom we enjoy today.
