Feature on WMAR-2 Voices For Veterans

We know very little about WWII. As a reminder, we only recently learned about the 761st. It was a black tank battalion that served with distinction in Europe.

In attempting to find a veteran, I came across this story by reporter, Erin McPherson covering WWII veteran William Keyes:

Mr. Keyes served with both the 4341st and 761st. Erin very graciously presented the log book to Mr Keyes. She offered to do a follow up story!

As an extra bonus – we coincidentally discovered that Mr Keyes had a connection with another Log Book signatory…..
