Feature on WMAR-2 Voices For Veterans

As a reminder of how little I know about WWII, I only recently learned about the 761st, an black tank battalion that served with distinction in Europe. In attempting to find a veteran, I came across this story by reporter, Erin McPherson covering WWII veteran William Keyes:

Mr. Keyes served with both the 4341st and 761st, Erin very graciously presented the log book to Mr Keyes and offered to do a follow up story! As an additional bonus – we coincidentally discovered that Mr Keyes had a connection with another Log Book signatory…..
